Wedding at Whitney Chapel

Happiness. Nerves. Sadness. Frustration. Content. More nerves. Overwhelming joy. This was the emotional roller coaster I rode with Meagan and her parents in the seemingly endless 30 seconds after the last bridesmaid walked down the aisle and before the doors opened for the bride to be escorted to her groom. Emotions are such a huge part of a wedding day. It's impossible to predict how anyone will act or feel, but getting to witness it all is so fulfilling. I get to be there, to live these once in a lifetime moments with these people...what a blessing that is for me.

Meagan & Kyle were surrounded by their closest family and friends during their intimate and sweet wedding. The ceremony was at Whitney Chapel at Parish Patch Farm in Normandy, and the reception was held down the road at Cortner's Mill. Here are my favorite images from their day.

I love the light in this image...all 100% natural light of the chapel.

It was beginning to rain a little at this point, so we had to move to the reception quickly.

Their reception was short and sweet. A meal, a slice of cake, a slide show.....

...and then they hit the road!

Congrats to Kyle & Meagan! I shot a roll of film at this wedding, but it hasn't arrived back from the lab yet. I'm sure I'll post as soon as I have something to show. Hope everyone enjoyed their 4th!
