Backyard Wedding, Part 1

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I love small weddings. So when Josh and Sheri started to tell me about their intimate, backyard wedding, I was practically giddy with excitement. They got married on a gorgeous day in October in her grandparents' yard, which is a mere 8 minute drive from my house. They kept things simple, with no wedding party and only about 50 guests. I knew it was going to be a good day when I arrived and was immediately offered some pie...really, what more could a girl ask for? The best part about their wedding was that it wasn't fussy...they didn't get too wrapped up in the production, and really focused on each other. Josh and Sheri arrived together, then she put on her borrowed dress and we began our easy going afternoon.

Yet again, I have too many favorites for one post. Check back tomorrow to see their tent reception. All photos in this post are Fuji 160 + EOS3 + Richard Photo Lab.
