Mint Springs Farm Wedding - Andrew & Alexa

A wedding necessitates a lot of moving parts … the bride, the groom, their families, the wedding party, the florist, the caterer, the planner, etc. But when you choose an all-in-one creative and planning solution like the one offered at Mint Springs Farm, things often run a bit more smoothly. The southern wedding venue is located in Nolensville just south of Nashville. Andrew and Alexa married there in June of last year on a gloriously overcast day that never produced much rain … just gorgeous clouds. I’ve been blessed to photograph this family for years. I also shot Alexa’s senior portraits, as well as her engagement session in a cotton field near Murfreesboro and her bridal session at Carton Plantation. (Look for it in an upcoming blog.) She’s a sweet, fun redhead, who’s usually got a big smile on her face. Despite a large wedding party of 22 people, the folks at Mint Springs helped us float seamlessly from one location to another. They even provided a limo and various golf carts to help us get around. I’m especially fond of the juxtaposition of the rustic – the hay bales, the barn, the vintage truck – with the modern elegance of the bride’s dress.  Want to talk about ways we can create a creative, timeless wedding photo experience for your big day?
