Nashville Maternity Photographer - The Fosters

Sometimes, an image just resonates. That’s how I feel about one of the shots I captured recently during a maternity session with the Foster family. They're super friends of ours. My husband, Joshua, and I have known Colynn and David since our David Lipscomb college days.
On a crisp fall day, we gathered to shoot eight-month pregnant, Colynn, along with David, their son, Aiden, and daughter, Keegan. Baby boy Brenen had not yet arrived. When I sat down to edit the session, the top image immediately caught my eye. It’s just so perfect … the angle of Colynn's head, the way her hands are places on top of each child, the expressions on the children's faces, the way the dress is pulled in her lap, the way her hair falls ... the colors. It just all magically came together! The pursuit of images like this one is exactly why I do what I do. Seeing those images displayed in a client’s home is another reason. These two 20x24 Woodwork Espresso frames really hit the mark. Rather than being hung on the wall, these frames are resting on a shelf, which would also work well on a mantel. It’s a perfect example of how a frames display aren’t limited to just walls! Also, now that Baby Brenen is here, some of this maternity session prints can be replaced with his portraits. That’s the wonderful thing about frame walls … they’re an ever-evolving, living artistic display. To schedule your own maternity session, email me.
