Wedding photography is more than just taking pictures, it's telling a story. And not just any story, but that of my clients. Sometimes, like in a good novel, sometimes the characters whisk me away to an unfamiliar but extraordinary setting. That’s what happened recently at the nuptials of Ashley and David. Their primary ceremony happened at the gorgeous marble structure of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Temple in Nashville. Like all traditional Mormon weddings, the sealing was private, so I waited patiently outside the doors until that special moment when Ashley and David joyfully burst through them as man and wife. After being greeted by other waiting friends and family, we captured some amazing images on the temple grounds after the wedding. Later, the couple hosted a second ceremony at CJ’s Off the Square where the bride and groom enjoyed all the traditional elements of a summer garden wedding draped in shades of burgundy, blush, and gold.
